TRH To Host Blood Drive

Transylvania Regional Hospital will host a blood drive on Wednesday, Oct. 26, from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on the hospital campus in Brevard.

Appointments for the blood drive can be made by calling 883-5200. Donors should enter the hospital through the main lobby. The blood drive will be held in the hospital’s Carlson Conference Room.

With the holidays fast approaching, this is traditionally the time of the lowest supply of blood available.

All donors will receive a Transylvania Halloween Blood Drive t-shirt and be entered in a drawing for a chance to win two Delta Airlines tickets.

To donate blood, you must be at least 17, healthy, weigh at least 110 pounds and have not donated blood in the past 56 days. Walk-in donors will be accepted, but those who have registered in advance will be seen first.
