Fall Festival To Be Held Saturday – Brevard NC
First Baptist Church in downtown Brevard will open its doors Saturday from 1-4 p.m. for their annual fall festival.
Games, prizes, food and fun will be the focus during this three-hour event in the church fellowship hall and on the church grounds. Outside, children will be able to play on a huge inflatable whale. Children and adults alike can enjoy an old fashion hayride which will load and leave from the front of the church every 15 to 20 minutes during the festival.
A special treat for festival goers will be a performance by Campus Rock. The six-member band from the campus of Western Carolina University will perform from 1-3 p.m. on Gaston Street in front of the church. Admission is free for all of the festival events.
On Wednesday night from 6-8 p.m. First Baptist will set up Trunk or Treat in its North parking lot at the intersection of Jordan Street and Gaston Street next to the church. There will be plenty of car trunks loaded with candy for that night’s trick or treaters.
The church invites the entire community to both events and to its graded Sunday school at 9:30 each Sunday morning and praise and worship service at 11 a.m.
The church nursery is open during both Sunday school and the worship service.
