Hiker Doesn't Need To See To Walk Trails

To the outsider, Trevor Thomas looks like just another hiker you may encounter on any given trail on any given day; fit, athletic and perhaps a few years younger than his actual age, with a black lab by his side walking through the mountains.

However, there is one big difference from Thomas and other hikers. One thing that makes the fact that he has hiked both the Appalachian and the Pacific Coast trails even more remarkable.

Thomas, a Charlotte resident, has been blind for the past eight years.
