Body Believed To Be At Falls - Brevard NC


As of Wednesday afternoon, officials say they still haven’t located the body of a Greenville, S.C., man who is believed to have drowned after jumping into a swimming hole at Turtleback Falls and never resurfacing.

Bobby Cooper, Lake Tox-away Fire Rescue chief, said a call came in at 12:42 p.m. Monday that a man had jumped off a boulder across from the falls, struggled briefly and then went under for the last time.
