Blue Devils Undone By Second Half Mustang Rally – Brevard NC

The Brevard Blue Devils took a three-point lead over Smoky Mountain heading into halftime, but the Mustangs exploded for 31 points in the third quarter to take Tuesday night's contest by a final score of 69-47.

The Blue Devils got the best of Smoky Mountain early after a three-point play from Breylon Owens and layup from Jace Frisbee gave Brevard a 5-4 lead.

Brevard used full-court pressure to cause the Mustangs' problems getting the ball inbounds and across midcourt.

A Frisbee three-pointer and runner in the lane from Chris Hemphill helped extend the Blue Devil lead to 11-6.
