Thursday, March 10, Co-ed Cinema was home to an exclusive premiere party for "The Young Messiah." Inheritance of Hope, a local nonprofit organization that inspires hope in young families facing the loss of a parent, made the premiere possible.

The connection between the film and Inheritance of Hope is a unique one. One of Inheritance of Hope's board members, Mark Shaw, is a producer of the film.

Over 200 people filled the sold out showing at the Co-ed Cinema last Thursday.

"I wanted to support our friend Mark, and it was also a great way to give back to the Brevard community in recognition of its support for Inheritance of Hope and our annual Legacy Run," said Deric Milligan, co-founder and CEO of Inheritance of Hope.

"It was a pleasure to work with Abby Steel, owner of Co-ed Cinema, and her team. It was also a joy to have a packed theater with so many Brevard residents all enjoying the show and having a wonderful evening together," he said. "We're looking forward to another great celebration of Brevard at The Hunter Subaru Legacy Run on April 30."
