NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Brevard Board of Adjustment will meet in the Council Room of the Municipal Building located at 95 W. Main St. in Brevard, North Carolina, on Tuesday, May 2, at 3:00 P.M. The following case will be considered:

The purpose of this meeting is to discuss the VARIANCE APPLICATION of Don B. Rogers, Agent for Patrick and Elizabeth Donahue, # V17-000002.

VAR Request – Don B. Rogers, Agent

Request of Don B. Rogers, Agent for Patrick and Elizabeth Donahue, for a variance in the density requirements for a parcel that is split zoned Residential Mixed Use – 10 du per acre and General Residential 6 – 6 du per acre to 12 du (dwelling units per acre) in accordance with UDO Chapter 2.3 and for a variance in parking space requirements in accordance with UDO Chapter 10.3.A to decrease parking space requirements from 2 spaces for residential (all types) to 1.5 parking spaces per residential unit. PUBLIC NOTICE

The following federal projects are currently being amended by Transylvania County Schools:

1. IDEA Part B 611 (special education programs for qualified students ages 5-21)

2. IDEA Part B 619 (special education programs for qualified students ages 3-5)

3. Title One (supplementary reading and math instruction for elementary students)

4. Title II A Improving Teacher Quality

5. Title II B Enhancing Education through Technol-ogy Training

6. Safe and Drug Free Schools ( programs to promote safe, drug free schools)

7. Limited English Pro-ficient Grant (programs to promote English instruction)

8. Carl Perkins Act Grant (programs for Career Technical Education)

Interested persons are encouraged to participate in the development of these projects and to make comments concerning the implementation of the specifics of these projects. A public meeting will be held on Monday, April 24, 2017 at 1:00 pm in the Morris Education Center. All comments will be considered before final submission to the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction, Raleigh, North Carolina. The projects are open for review and comments the week of May 15th in the Office of Federal Programs, 225 Rosenwald Lane, Brevard. Please contact Kerry Putnam for further information.

Private schools, including home schools, are eligible to participate in the programs. This notice is to inform interested parties of your potential eligibility and to invite your comments.

The property to be offered pursuant to this notice of sale is being offered for sale, transfer and conveyance “AS IS, WHERE IS.” Neither the Trustee nor the holder of the note secured by the deed of trust, being foreclosed, nor the officers, directors, attorneys, employees, agents or authorized representative of either Trustee or the holder of the note make any representation or warranty relating to the title or any physical, environmental, health or safety conditions existing in, on, at or relating to the property being offered for sale. You may be liable for rent due under the agreement prorated to the effective date of the termination.
