The Transylvania Times -

Farmers' Market Changes Location For May 20 - Brevard, NC

May 18, 2017

To support one of their hosts, the Masonic Lodge, as they celebrate their 150th Anniversary in Transylvania County and need the use of the farmers’ market parking lot, the Transylvania Farmers’ Market will be setting the market up in the parking lot next door this coming Saturday. Look for the Farmers’ Market in the large parking area at the corner of Rice and Main streets.

The market lot will be closed for parking and available to the Masonic Lodge only, so customers are asked to not attempt to park there. Instead, the Presbyterian church on Main Street has kindly offered the use of their parking lot, directly off Main Street. Look for signs and join the Farmers’ Market for a lovely morning of local food and locally-produced products!

With a focus on the bounty that Transylvania County has to offer, the market has more than 60 vendors offering fresh, locally-grown produce, meat, poultry, eggs, honey, cheeses, vinegars, pickled veggies, mushrooms, plants, herbs, cut flowers, baked goods, jams and jellies, hot breakfast items, coffee, prepared foods, and a variety of handcrafted and artisan items from local producers. Throughout the season, the market will host weekly music and events.
