Wanda Roger's "Harper" took Best of Show in the competition.

Receiving Honorable Mentions were Elizabeth Mason for "Flora," Barbara Walter for "Apples" and Ellen Rothman for "Poppy Fantasy."

The People's Choice award was voted at large and was a tie between Barbey's "Valley Sun" and Carol Brown's "National Seashore Gulf Breeze, Fla."

The Connestee Art League was formed more than 20 years ago and has more than 60 members, many of whom also support and are active in other local art organizations.

The purpose of the league is to promote an interest in and appreciation of visual art among its members and within the community.

The artwork for the show will be on exhibit and available for sale in the Connestee Falls' Overlook dining room and Blue Ridge Lounge through Aug. 27.
