Labor Of Love Built At City Park - Brevard, NC

Local carpenters and volunteers pose under the roof of the second shelter they built in May at the city of Brevard's Franklin Park playground. For a group of local carpenters, there is little doubt that donating a day's worth of their labor to build a second picnic pavilion at Franklin Park, will be cause for celebrations for years to come.

Though they may not get credit for their sacrifice each time a downpour threatens to dampen someone's special occasion, future party-goers will surely appreciate the additional shelter they have a...
