Turnovers Doom Tigers In 7-Point Loss To Eagles

Sophomore running back Thomas Collins rushes off the left tackle on his way to a 10-yard touchdown during the second quarter of Rosman's season opener against East Henderson Friday night. Collins finished with 104 yards on 19 carries and one passing touchdown that went for 74 yards. The Tigers' offense accumulated nearly 500 total yards against the Eagles, but five turnovers left the door open for East to steal a seven-point victory.

Some fans may have not recognized Silverstein Memorial Stadium or believed that the Tigers could possibly be playing on William J. Cathey Field Friday night for the season opener after an 18-foot sinkhole developed just a week ago.

The community showed up in droves for new head coach Matt Stack and the 2017 Tiger football team.
