Brevard Philharmonic Debuts New Box Office Home With Open House - Brevard, NC

September 21, 2017

If you prefer to pick up your tickets in person for the upcoming 41st season of the Brevard Philharmonic, from now on you will be heading to a new address. The orchestra has moved its office, which is now conveniently located directly across from Brevard College and the Porter Center where this season’s five concerts will be held on five designated Sundays at 3 p.m.

The new address is 521 N. Broad St. The space has been generously donated by MountainSide Home-builders, the company which is headquartered there.

The Philharmonic will host an open house, free and open to the public, on Sunday, Oct. 1, between 3 and 5 p.m., to celebrate the new space. An original oil painting, graciously donated to the orchestra and its outreach programs by well known local artist Barbara Hawk will also be unveiled at that time. Raffle tickets for the painting will be available at the open house, at the new office all season long, and at every performance throughout the year. The winner will be announced during intermission at the final performance on April 8, 2018. You need not be present to win. Tickets are $30 each; four for $100.

The open house is an opportunity for the public to share refreshments with fellow music lovers, have a sneak peek at the painting and to buy raffle tickets, as well as season and single tickets for concerts during the Brevard Philharmonic’s exciting artistic director search season. You may even run into a musician or two.

The Brevard Philhar-monic is a nonprofit organization comprised of local and regional musicians, presenting five concerts annually at Brevard College’s Porter Center for the Performing Arts. Its mission is to foster in the community and in our schools an appreciation for classical music and the performing arts.
