Brevard Drops Pair Of Road Matches

The Brevard Lady Blue Devil volleyball team dropped a pair of early week road contests, losing Monday at T.C. Roberson and Tuesday at Hendersonville.

Brevard lost both matches by 3-0 scores.

The loss against the Bearcats gives Brevard a 2-2 mark in the Mountain Six Conference, with an overall record of 4-9.

Brevard concludes its week of play Thursday on the road at Pisgah.

Lady Blue Devils Fall To Bearcats

The Brevard girls’ tennis team lost 9-0 on the road Monday at Hendersonville.

With the loss, the Lady Blue Devils have a 1-5 record overall, with a 1-3 mark in conference play.

Brevard hosts Franklin on Thursday.

Rosman Wins In Five Sets At Swain

The Rosman Lady Tigers scored a big road conference win Tuesday as they beat Swain County by a final of 3-2.

Rosman won the third set to go ahead 2-1 before Swain won set four, forcing a fifth set.

There, Rosman won 16-14.

Erica Breedlove led the way with 18 kills while Christa Galloway finished with 15 kills.

Rosman’s record stands at 6-6 overall, with a 4-3 mark in Smoky Mountain Conference play.

The Lady Tigers hosted Polk County Wednesday and travel to Highlands on Thursday.
