BES Uses Hammocks As A Learning Incentive - Brevard, NC

Three Brevard business owners have each sponsored an ENOpod and three hammocks at Brevard Elementary School. The stands and hammocks are made by Asheville-based Eagles Nest Outfitters.

Students at Brevard Elementary School (BES) now have the opportunity to enjoy reading quite a ways away from their classroom desks - and they are happily getting in the swing of it.

Three tri-stands, known as ENOpods, by Eagles Nest Outfitters (ENO), an Asheville-based travel gear maker, have been permanently installed in a grassy area just outside the school's front entrance. Teachers, counselors and school staff can check out nine brightly colored hammocks, made from ENO's signature lightweight parachute material to complete the setup.
