Alma Jane Owen Simmons, 79, of Balsam Grove, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 5, 2017.

She was the daughter of the late Samuel and Judia Galloway Owen.

She was a member of Mountain View Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Mack Simmons; daughters, Nenia S. Grooms and husband, Eddie, of Balsam Grove and April S. Judd and husband, Glen, also of Balsam Grove; sisters, Linda Kinley and Beatrice Hold-en; son, Jake Simmons, of Easley, S.C.; grandchildren, Jasper and Joshua Grooms and Vada Judd; and five great-grandchildren.

Private graveside services were held.
