Suzanne Victoria Bundy Moffat, 83, passed peacefully away Tuesday, May 16, 2023, after a brave battle with cancer.
She was born in Athens, Ohio, raised in Alplaus, N.Y., spent many years in Marion, Mass. and lived her final four years in Brevard.
She is survived by her partner, Walter J. Striedieck; ex-husband, George Moffat; and her three siblings, John F. Bundy, Freda Bundy Hofland and David S. Bundy.
Her life, as a Force of Nature, brightened the life of innumerable people, as she made her way adventurously and lovingly from education at Rochester University and the Sorbonne, to teaching, sailing and sailplaning around the world. She leaves behind an uncountable number of people, whose lives were enriched by her presence, now left bereft by her absence.
