Youth Symphony To Perform

 


The Carolina Youth Symphony will showcase all three orchestras in a delightful seasonal event on Sunday, Dec. 9, at 3 p.m. in McAlister Auditorium at Furman University.

The orchestras will perform works by Christiansen, Cerulli, Herbert, Reed and a piece composed by Jay Bocook for the Greenville Symphony twenty years ago that has not been performed since its premiere.

The concert will feature a brass quintet comprised of Furman University faculty and students. The Carolina Youth Symphony also will perform the timeless "Russian Christmas Music."
