Any move to convert the railway line from Pisgah Forest to Henderson County into a recreation area would likely face legal action.

Attorney James Kimzey, representing several landowners along that portion of the railway corridor, wrote in a recent letter to the City of Brevard and the county that his clients were "prepared to take whatever legal action is necessary to ensure against the taking of their property."
