Brevard Blows Late Lead, Rallies To 62-50 Win

Many basketball coaches pull their hair or throw their towel when their team blows a lead late, but Brevard head coach Tim Trantham neglected to do either in the Blue Devils' 62-50 win Tuesday night.

First, Trantham is a little follically challenged. Secondly, his team gave him reason to hang onto his Tarkanian-esque trademark towel.

It was nice to see the kids hold their composure,"" Trantham said. ""There were times we had three sophomores on the floor.""

The Blue Devils coasted to a seven-point lead to start the fourth quarter, only to see the Cougars whittle it down quickly.
