James Wilson Brown, IV

 


James Wilson Brown, IV, 89, recently of Woodruff, S.C., died on Wednesday, Dec. 26, 2007.

Born in Selma, Ala. on Dec. 15, 1918, he was the son of the late Harley Proctor Brown and Martha McGinniss Brown Cole-man, and the husband of the late Julia Jane White Brown, his be-loved wife of over 60 years.

He grew up in Uniontown, Ala., attended the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and graduated from Miami University of Ohio. He enlisted in the Navy during the Second World War, graduated from the Navy Radar School at Bowdoin College, Maine, and served in the South Pacific. For most of his wo...
