Yellow Jackets Turn Up The Intensity On Rosman

 

Rosman guard Nathan Meece flies in for a lay-up against Hayesville

For about 12 minutes Monday night the Rosman Tigers played like teams of old and ran out an early lead against arch-rival Hayesville.

But a flurry of turnovers and increased intensity by the Yellow Jackets saw them open a big lead and cruise to a 74-52 win in Smoky Mountain Conference play.

The Tigers took an 8-2 lead early on the play of Daniel Plotts, who had two inside buckets in a row, and Ian Lorenz, who sank a turn-around jumper at the 5:30 mark.

Rosman took the lead to 10-4 with a nice pass from Tyler Phillips to Thomas Moman inside.

Phillips duplicated the play on Rosman's next trip...
