Bears Pull Away From Blue Devils On Friday

The Pisgah Black Bears were never really challenged in their match-up with Brevard Friday night, running away with an 84-68 victory.

The Bears took a 20-5 lead early, before a 5-0 run at the hands of Brian Carrington trimmed the lead to 10.

Pisgah responded with a 5-0 run of its own to re-open a 15-point advantage.

Carrington answered with a lay-up and Ethan Babin took a charge on the last play of the first quarter, setting up Brevard's possession to open the second period.
