Pat Greenwald To Portray Minnie Pearl On Feb. 14

 


A portrayal of the queen of country comedy comes to the public library auditorium at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 14, performed by Hendersonville's own Pat Hammond Greenwald. A Valentine's Day celebration, sponsored by the Friends of the Library, the program is free and open to the public but tickets available at the library reference desk will be required for admission.

With her straw hat and dangling price tag attached to the rim, Minnie Pearl was for 20 years the star attraction of the Hee Haw television show in addition to her even longer tenure as Nashville's Grand Ole Opry man-hungry...
