Tigers Claw Wildcats 43-34

The Rosman men's basketball team picked up an important road win at Andrews Tuesday night by a 43-34 score.

It took a big half to accomplish that feat, as the Wildcats ran off a 12-9 first-quarter advantage.

Andrews kept the pressure on in the second quarter, eventually opening a 19-15 half-time lead.

But the second half was all Rosman, as the Tigers put up 11 points in the third quarter, to just eight for Andrews.

They then slammed the door with a 17-7 tally in the fourth for the nine-point win.

Eight Tigers scored, although none hit double-figures in the win.

Rosman was led by Charley Bradley and Cody Petit's nine points.

Daniel Plotts followed sith seven, while Nathan Meece had six.

Tyler Phillips and Thomas Moman each had four for Rosman, while Robert Jeffers added three.

The Tigers host SMC foe Cherokee Friday night at 8:30 p.m. immediately following the Lady Tigers' match-up.
