Lady Tigers Avenge Earlier Loss To Cherokee

The Lady Tigers overcame a dismal first-quarter performance to avenge an earlier loss to Cherokee with a win going away Friday night.

More importantly, Rosman improves its chances to move into third place in the Smoky Mountain Conference with the 66-47 win.

The Lady Tigers trailed 18-5 midway through the first quarter as they struggled on both ends of the court.

But at the 2:44 mark, Rosman turned up the intensity, with Hayley Fisher getting a steal and a lay-up. She drew a foul, but missed the free throw opportunity.
