Tigers Lose In A Heart-breaker

The Tigers lost a heart-breaker in their home finale Friday night, falling 66-65 to visiting Cherokee.

After trailing by eight at the end of the third quarter, the Tigers mounted a valiant come-back.

Robert Jeffers scored inside and Tyler Phillips hit a shot on the baseline to pull Rosman to within four.

Nathan Meece then made a nice pass to Phillips, who finished to draw the Tigers to within two, 54-56.

The Braves ran back out to a six-point lead, despite another baseline shot by Phillips.

With 3:34 left in the game, Cherokee led 62-56.
