School Business Form 'Eggcellent"" Partnership

Some Brevard High School students are working for chicken feed. That's right, chicken feed.

Students in Andy VonCanon's Animal Husbandry program have formed a partnership with Blue Ridge Bakery, and that partnership means chicken feed for the hens that the students in the program are raising.

Each week VonCanon's students sell the bakery ten-dozen farm fresh eggs they've collected from their flock of hens. The money they raise helps care for the flock.

Students use the money from the eggs they sell to pay for food and supplements they need to keep their chickens healthy.
