City Gets Grant For Path On Gallimore


The City of Brevard has been awarded a $250,000 grant to help pay for a multi-use path along Gallimore Road

Mayor Jimmy Harris announced the news during the City Council's meeting on Monday.

The city estimates it would cost $650,000 to build a path connecting Brevard Elementary to Brevard High School along Gallimore.

To offset the costs, the city is looking at other sources, including asking the Board of Education and county commissioners for funding.
