Scholarships Now Available For DS Children

Through a scholarship program established by the WNC Down Syndrome Alliance in partnership with the Western North Carolina Parrot Head Club, 2008 camp and program enrichment scholarships are now available to children ages three through 18 with Down syndrome (DS) throughout 17 Western North Carolina counties.

The program offers a stipend up to $1,000 per child per calendar year for tuition and one-on-one assistance at a camp or enrichment program that best fits the needs of the child and family.
