New Device Helps the Visually Impaired

There's a new device called a mobile reader that promises life-changing results for visually impaired people. They can use it to "read" just about anything. That includes books, periodicals, receipts, currency and product labels.

Contained in a cell phone with a camera, the device photographs images and then electronically reads them back to the listener.

There are two mobile reader products. One is the knfb reader and the other is the kReader.
