The Blue Devils picked up a tough but important conference tennis match Monday against East Henderson, winning 8-1 over the Eagles.

Several of the matches could have gone either way, according to Blue Devil head coach Louis Vitelli, but Brevard ended up in the win column.

The Blue Devils swept singles play, but with thin margins in the first three matches.

Glenn Palmer picked up the win at number-one singles with a 10-7 victory over Brandon Binns.

At number-two, James McLeod defeated Dawson Corn by the same 10-7 margin.

Rodrigo Martinez defeated Will Johnson 10-8 at number-three singles.
