Artist Sultan To Speak


Renowned artist and Asheville native Donald Sultan will discuss "Art and Theory" at 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 16, at UNC Asheville's Humanities Lecture Hall. The successful New York artist will speak as part of UNC Asheville's annual Laurence and Joyce Dorr lecture series, "Aesthetics: Thinking Beyond Experience."

The talk is Sultan's second visit to campus in recent years. In 2007, he was presented an honorary doctor of humane letters during the spring commencement ceremony. The event is free and open to the public.
