Village Moving Forward 'Full Tilt""
Davidson River Village, the new development planned for the former Ecusta mill property, is moving forward "full tilt," according to John Hanselman, managing partner of Renova Partners.
Some of the office structures on the site are sound and will likely remain, he said.
"We're going to keep as much as we can," he said.
Other structures, used for papermaking, will have to go.
Hanselman said the sale of scrap metal from the site is "guaranteed" and there will be a lot of demolition of structures that no longer serve any purpose.
"We're going to be doing a lot of that," he said.
