Tigers Bumped In First Round

A big seventh inning bumped the Tigers from the 1-A baseball playoffs on Friday afternoon as Rosman fell to visiting Hayesville 6-4.

After giving up a run in the first, Tyler Phillips hand-cuffed the Yellow Jackets through five innings before Hayesville erupted for five runs in a controversial top of the seventh.

The Yellow Jackets took a 1-0 lead in the top of the first on a lead-off homer to left field.

Rosman then picked up three runs in the home half of the third on what would appear to be the winning runs.
