Tornado Baseball Faced Adversity In 2008 Season

The Brevard College men's baseball team not only took on a challenging 2008 slate which included four top-25 nationally ranked teams on top of the tough South Atlantic Conference full schedule, but also battled a number of injuries to a lot of different players, including some season ending injuries.

Brevard opened up the season at the Swamp Fox Challenge Tournament in South Carolina in which the Tornados loss to Coker College, defeated Lander College in a slugfest and then fell to No. 24 ranked Francis Marion University to leave the tournament with a 1-2 record.
