BES Receives Safe Routes Funding

 


The N.C. Department of Transportation has awarded its first Safe Routes to School program funds with nearly $1.6 million going to 11 municipalities and local agencies. The funding is for bicycle and pedestrian improvement projects and safety programs for local schools.
