Johnson Out Of Jail, Posts $200,000 Bail

Denver Franklin Johnson, the man accused of murdering David Morgan in Brevard last December, is out of jail after posting $200,000 bail.

The 33-year-old was arrested for first-degree murder on Dec. 21 and was denied bond. On Jan. 15, Johnson was given a $200,000 secured bond and made his bail on March 27 through the Brevard Bail Bonds.

Capt. Kevin Creasman, with the Transylvania County Sheriff's Office, said it was not usual for an individual who has such a large bond amount to make bail.

"However, if you can make it, you can get out," said Creasman.
