Inn Hopes New Signs Will Help Business
The Inn at Brevard on East Main Street is easier to find these days, thanks to several new directional signs erected by the N.C. Department of Transportation.
The signs were bought by the Inn, made by the state and require a payment of $200 a year to remain in place.
Faye Yager, who has owned the Inn for the past 11 years, said she felt the signs were necessary to help guests find her business, since efforts to get more signage on Main Street were unsuccessful.
Mike Buchanan, a DOT coordinator for the program, declined to comment about the signs.
