The BHS Class of 1948 enjoyed a 60th anniversary. On Friday, June 6, thirty-one people enjoyed an evening meal at Pisgah Fish Camp. The reunion was
held at the Transylvania Recreation Center at Pisgah Forest from 3-8 p.m. on Saturday, June 7 with an atten-dance of 44. Albert Shuford was the only faculty member attending. After a time of greeting and fellowship Fred Kilstrom ask a blessing and the group enjoyed a catered meal.
A memorial service was led by Ruth Gaines Honeycutt. A memory candle was lit and Ruth read the names of 23 deceased graduates. A moment of silence followed.
