Noise Dispute Hearing Rescheduled For Aug.7


There will be no immediate resolution of Transylvania County's dispute with a Cherryfield property owner over the noise caused by a motorbike track that opened earlier this year.

The case against Mike Baxley was continued for a second time Thursday, this time until Aug. 7.

Baxley's attorney was in court in Asheville and was unable to attend the scheduled June 12 hearing before District Judge Robert Cilley, court officials said.
