Renova 'Shocked' By Spill
Michael Singer, the project director with Renova, said his company was "shocked, embarrassed and horrified" about the May 28 toxic spill in the Davidson River.
Singer addressed the spill Tuesday during a public meeting to review the developer's plans for the old Ecusta site (see above story).
An estimated 22,710 fish were killed when toxic chemicals from the old Ecusta site spilled into the river, according to a report released by the state Division of Water Quality.
