Corridor Committeebegins Honing Its Focus
Keeping development off the mountain ridges, limiting density in subdivisions and protecting the Pisgah Forest community's character are among the issues the committee looking at ways to manage growth along the U.S. 64 East and N.C. 280 corridors will discuss in upcoming meetings.
The committee, made up of city and county officials, and members of the public, met for the third time on Thursday.
The committee broke into two groups and then came up with several proposals and concerns to be discussed.
