Schools Slightly Improve On AYP


Transylvania County Schools improved but two schools fell just short on the 2007-2008 annual yearly progress (AYP) report.

Seven out of nine schools, compared to last year's six out of nine schools, met their yearly target goals set by the No Child Left Behind legislation.

All schools, except Brevard Elementary School and Davidson River Schools, met 100 percent of their individual target goals.
