Alchol Found In Waterfall Victim

 


A high alcohol level could have played a part in the death of Ronald Conrad Brown, when he jumped off Looking Glass Falls last week, according to the Sheriff's Office.

Lt. Brian Kreigsman, a Sheriff's Office detective who spoke on behalf of the North Carolina Forest Service due to staff deployment to aid in Hurricane Gustav relief efforts, said that Mission Hospitals measured Brown's blood-alcohol level at .29.

"This was over three times the legal driving limit of .08, so it's fair to say that alcohol played a part in his decision making," said Kreigsman, who was also at the accident scene...
