Academy Needs New Vice Chair
As it looks for a new principal, Brevard Academy must now look for a new vice-chairman of its Board of Directors.
Last week, the academy's Board of Directors accepted the resignation of Robert Dye, who told Chairman Joe Castro that he did not want to be vice chairman or hold any position with the Board.
The vice-chairman's role includes heading the policy and procedures committee and preparing to become chairman one day.
The Board agreed to wait until its October meeting to select Dye's successor.
