Rosman REC. Plan Moving Ahead


Transylvania County recently signed a 30-year lease with Ila Israel and Sharon Hogsed for approximately 22 acres in Rosman that will be used to provide recreational facilities.

The property adjoins the Peter Vitalie pool table company off the Old Rosman Highway.

"It's going to be a real benefit to the community," said Rick Pangle, director of

Transylvania County Parks and Recreation Department.

"It's just another opportunity to keep kids active in a positive way."
