Denver Johnson Sent Back To Jail


First-degree murder suspect Denver Franklin Johnson is back in the Transylvania County Jail on a $500,000 secured bond.

On Tuesday, Judge Mark Powell learned that Johnson had accrued additional charges after posting a $200,000 bond on March 27 for his release.

While out on bond, Johnson was arrested on Sept. 19 by the Transylvania

County Sheriff's Office for misdemeanor charges of false imprisonment, assault on a female and communicating threats. He is scheduled to be heard today in District Court for these charges.
