Frustration Voiced On N.C. 215 With No End in Sight


Frustration is mounting in Transylvania County about the slow progress of plans to relocate or rebuild a section of N.C. 215 from Balsam Grove to Rosman.

As it now stands, the road won't be built until at least 2015 and will cost roughly $73.5 million.

"I don't believe I'll live to see it," said Frank Owen of Balsam Grove, 85, who said his older brother was involved in construction work on the existing highway.
