Gary Michael Hilton, suspected of murdering a Hendersonville couple in 2007, is going to trial on a first-degree murder charge in Leon County in Florida, and prosecutors will pursue the death penalty.
Hilton is charged with killing Cheryl Dunlap, a nurse from Crawfordville, Fla., in December 2007.
He faces the death penalty if convicted. Hilton is suspected of abducting Dunlap from Leon Sinks, a hiking path north of the Leon/Wakulla county line in Florida .
