James Richard Bennett Jr., a Piedmont, S.C. resident, has been arrested on four charges in relation to Sunday night's car crash into an Ecusta Road home.
The 44-year-old Bennett has been charged with driving while impaired, operating a vehicle without a license, one misdemeanor count of careless and reckless driving, and one misdemeanor count of leaving the scene of an accident, according to Sgt. Bruce Blackwell with the Brevard Police Department.
According to Blackwell, Bennett had been staying in the Brevard area for work-related reasons.
